Kupla Productions Ltd is a media production company ("tuotantoyhtiö" in Finnish) that was founded in May 1999 by science journalist Jari Mäkinen. He is still the only owner of the company.

Kupla's activities can be divided roughly in two parts: one supporting Mr. Mäkinen with his multiple productions for TV, radio and printed media, another providing audiovisual and information services for commercial and institutional customers. The productions of Kupla range from short texts up to comprehensive promotional packages. Sometimes Kupla founds itself also in purely artistic productions.

The most of the commercial productions are made in cooperation with Mageia company. Kupla has also close cooperation with Vistakuva Oy.
