Kupla Productions Ltd is a production company founded by science journalist Jari Mäkinen in 1999. Its main purpose is to support Mr. Mäkinen with his own productions, but Kupla provides also all kinds of audiovisual and communication services. The companyis based in Finland, but some activities take place in the Netherlands.

Science journalist Jari Mäkinen has specialised in space, flying and especially in spaceflight. He works globally with science- and space-related projects, but also goes on with contributing programs for the Science Programs of the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE, and articles for Tekniikan Maailma and Tähdet ja Avaruus magazines.
